Tour & Service: The Ultimate West Coast Adventure + Meaningful Community Impact
Looking for the best summer ever? Our Tour & Service program is the ultimate hybrid experience, blending the thrill of an epic teen tour adventure across the American West with the opportunity to make a real difference through meaningful community service while living on the beautiful University of California, Santa Barbara campus. It’s the best of both worlds—incredible sights, adrenaline-pumping adventures, and hands-on volunteer work that truly changes lives.
We’ll start with 15 unforgettable days exploring the Southwest and California, where you’ll soar through the air on zip lines in Park City, Utah, hike through the surreal hoodoos of Bryce Canyon National Park, and stand in awe at the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. In Sedona, Arizona, we’ll climb into Pink Jeeps for an off-road adventure through the stunning red rocks, then experience the nonstop energy of Las Vegas, taking in the dazzling lights and thrilling attractions. The journey continues in Lake Tahoe, where we’ll spend a day on the water, water-skiing, tubing, and soaking up the California sun. Finally, in San Francisco, we’ll hop on a cable car, take in breathtaking views, and race down the famous twists and turns of Lombard Street.
After two weeks of exploring breathtaking landscapes and iconic cities, we’ll head to Santa Barbara for 11 impactful days of community service and coastal living. Staying in the dorms at UC Santa Barbara, participants will spend weekday mornings volunteering at projects that help children, protect the environment, and support underserved communities. Each project allows for personal growth, meaningful connections, and a deeper understanding of the world. Afternoons and evenings are filled with beachside adventures, fun activities, and bonding with new friends in one of the most beautiful coastal cities in California.
On the weekend, get ready for Hollywood magic as we head to Los Angeles for an action-packed getaway. We’ll walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame, spotting the stars of our favorite celebrities, before going behind the scenes at Warner Bros. Studios, where we’ll step onto real movie sets and soundstages. At Universal Studios Hollywood, we’ll experience thrilling attractions like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge. Our time in LA wraps up with a night of non-stop laughter at The Improv Comedy Club, where some of the biggest names in comedy got their start.
By the end of the program, participants won’t just return home with incredible memories and lifelong friendships – they’ll also have earned 40 hours of community service credit, leaving a lasting impact on the communities they helped. This one-of-a-kind experience is the perfect mix of adventure, service, and fun – a summer that’s as exciting as it is meaningful.
