Finally, the first day of your Hawaiian/Alaskan Adventure teen tour is here! Your trip of a lifetime to the lands of Ice & Tropical Paradise begins as we jet to San Francisco • Make lots of new friends and start bonding with your group during our fun Introductions and Ice Breakers • Cross the Golden Gate Bridge, ride down the hills of San Francisco on the Cable Cars and race your friends down famous Lombard Street, known as the “crookedest” street in the world • Take a walk through Pier 39 on Fisherman's Wharf • Get ready for a Rein Teen Tours exclusive: Circus School! At Circus Center, the pros will teach us to fly on the Trapeze, Tumble across the floor, learn to Juggle and bounce on Trampolines • At Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory, we’ll feast on the best Ice Cream Sundaes ever!
We travel to beautiful Lake Tahoe where you’ll check into your suite at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel, South Lake Tahoe's only all-suite hotel. Located at the base of Heavenly Mountain Resort, our hotel is just steps away from Heavenly Village, the heart of South Lake Tahoe • Who's ready for a Beach Day on Lake Tahoe? Have a blast Tubing & Water-skiing with professional instruction on the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe. Enjoy a chill beach day with all of your new friends on the sandy shores of the lake.
Our next three stops take us through Oregon, one of the most exciting, activity oriented parts of the tour! • Hold on tight as we go high speed Jet Boating on the legendary Rogue River, where we'll experience the soaking thrill of 360 degree turns and the rush of the rapids. Rushing white water, beautiful scenery, and an abundance of wildlife will be seen on this high-adventure speedboat trip through Hellgate Canyon – be prepared to get soaked!
Our next stop in Oregon is the city of Eugene, where we’ll check out the beautiful campus of the University of Oregon and head to the Bookstore to get some fun “Duck” gear (the UO mascot is based on Disney’s Donald Duck character) • Our next high-action adventure takes us Sand Duning along the coast at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area (home to some of the world’s largest sand dunes)! Brace yourself as your professional Sand Rail Dune Buggy driver takes you flying up, down and across miles and miles of sand dunes, some of which top out at almost 500 feet above sea level. Trust us – you have never experienced adrenaline like this before! • After riding the dune buggies, we’ll head to a protected area of the dunes where you can run, jump and slide down the white sand dunes!
Next, we head to Portland, the latest hot-spot in the Pacific Northwest. Known for being a clean, green and super friendly city, Portland is now considered one of the top foodie cities in the country • Check out the International Rose Test Garden, the Oregon Zoo and famous Powell’s Books • Battle your friends at Ultrazone, a Laser Tag game with swirling fog, glowing pillars and maze-like passageways.
Our awesome activities in this summertime playground include our Zipline Canopy Adventure, where we'll zip over the valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains while experiencing stunning aerial vistas above Fitzsimmons Creek • After flying through the sky on the ziplines, we'll go Mountain Biking along picturesque trails, relax in our hotel's outdoor mountainside pool, explore Whistler Village and enjoy delicious dinners in town • In Vancouver, walk across the Capilano Suspension Bridge and explore Treetops Adventure and Cliffwalk, a series of suspended walkways that jut out over Capilano Canyon • Granville Island Marketplace is a great spot to have lunch, browse and enjoy the entertainment of street musicians.
Soak up the cool vibe at Pike Place Market and grab lunch overlooking the waterfront of the Puget Sound, get chosen out of the crowd to catch a fish at the famous Pike Place Fish Market, and - of course – visit the original Starbucks! • Pose for photos in your own rock band, sing your favorite song in a recording studio and tour the interactive, hands-on music exhibits at MoPOP (Museum of Pop Culture) • For an incredible view of Seattle and Mt. Rainier, we'll ride the elevator to the very top of the Space Needle (true fact: the Space Needle is 1,320 Milky Way bars - 605 feet - tall) • We'll wrap up our time in Seattle by playing Whirlyball, a fast-action game combining motorized bumper cars, lacrosse and basketball.
Our journey to the “land of the midnight sun” includes exciting visits to Fairbanks, Denali National Park and Anchorage. Our time in Alaska begins when we fly into Fairbanks, where we’ll be awed by the great Alaskan outdoors in both Fairbanks and Denali National Park • Here we’ll marvel at America’s tallest peak, Mount Denali (formerly Mt. McKinley), enjoy views of stunning unspoiled wilderness including glacial rivers and massive peaks of Denali National Park, and from the comfort of our bus, see some incredible wildlife, including dall sheep, moose, caribou and possibly even grizzly bears • We’ll get soaked on our Denali Rafting Trip on the most popular whitewater river in Alaska, the Nenama River • This exciting and beautiful rafting trip will take us through the Nenama River Canyon, where we will marvel at the beautiful landscape of Denali National Park while our raft guides take us through fun rapids • It wouldn’t be a trip to Alaska without a visit to a Dogsledding Base Camp • Here we’ll meet a musher, learn about dogsledding and the dogs’ care, watch the sled dogs train, and hold and cuddle adorable husky pups • On our Gold Panning Adventure, experience the thrill of the gold rush as you search for real gold! Your “haul” will be weighed and then preserved so you can bring it back home as a fun souvenir of your time in Alaska.
Our adventures continue in Anchorage, best known for its trails, wildlife and glaciers • On our Glacier Boat Trip, we’ll experience the majesty of Alaska’s glaciers up close. Our boat will pull just 300 yards away from Portage Glacier, where we’ll watch fractures of ice break off the glacier and crash into the water below • We’ll reach new heights when we take an aerial tram to the top of Mt. Alyeska. Along the way we’ll see miles in all directions, including views of picturesque Turnagain Arm, seven “hanging” glaciers, and endless peaks deep into the Chugach Mountain range • Always a favorite when we visit Anchorage, we’ll tour the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife through conservation, education, and animal care. The majority of the animals (reindeer, wolves, black and brown bear, moose, and bison) in care at AWCC were either orphaned or injured and will spend the rest of their lives at the sanctuary • Our visit to Anchorage will also include a visit to the University of Alaska, watching the salmon run/jump up stream at Ship Creek and much more • With great excitement for the grand finale of our trip, we fly to the land of Tropical Paradise ~ Hawaii!
Our unbelievable visit to Hawaii begins with a flying start as we jet to the Valley Isle of Maui • Located on 40 lush acres along Kaanapali Beach, the beautiful Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa will be our home while we're in paradise on Maui. Have a blast with your friends in our resort's winding outdoor Pools with dazzling Waterfalls and views of the Pacific Ocean • Hold on tight as we go bouncing on the sparkling blue waters of the Pacific on our Banana Boating Adventure • You'll never believe how warm the ocean is here – and the best part is – the beach is right at our resort! • An amazing day of Snorkeling awaits us as our 65 foot catamaran sails to the Molokini Crater. On our Snorkel Cruise Adventure, we'll enjoy glass bottom viewing, a fun waterslide, bar-b-que lunch, and awesome snorkeling amongst colorful Tropical Fish and giant Sea Turtles • Evening excitement includes fun dinner parties and enjoying time in the vibrant tourist town of Lahaina.
Our short jet flight takes us to the "The Big Island", where we'll check into Hawaii's most talked about hotel, the outrageous Hilton Waikoloa Village. The fantasy begins as we board our monorail or boat that takes us to our rooms • Soak up the sun as we swim and snorkel in the many pools and lagoons, connected by waterfalls and waterslides. We'll tour the Big Island, visiting Volcanoes National Park, where we will marvel at the hot steam jets blasting from the natural underground sauna • We will hike through giant Lava Tubes, photograph waterfalls in the Rainforest and run barefoot on the Black Sand Beaches • To complete our visit at this unbelievable hotel, we'll enjoy an authentic Polynesian Luau.
The beautiful Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa will be our home for our final three nights in paradise. Located on the Island of Oahu, balanced between the idyllic beauty of legendary Waikiki Beach and the dynamic city center of Waikiki, we will experience the ancient spirit of aloha & Hawaiian hospitality at this incredible resort • Relive the historical lessons of Pearl Harbor, when we visit the USS Arizona Memorial • Have fun exploring the Dole Pineapple Plantation and take a fun trip to the University of Hawaii to pick up some UH apparel. • Enjoy awesome panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean when we climb Diamond Head, one of the most famous volcanic craters in the world. Surfing Lessons on our white sand beach will make our last day unforgettable! Our Professional Surfing Company will teach everyone to catch waves and learn to surf like a pro • Prepare fun skits and songs for our emotional Last Night Celebration at our hotel, where we’ll spend our final night together, reliving the great memories of our trip of a lifetime on Rein Teen Tours!
